This was our 3rd construction project and 1st with ADR. They exceeded our expectations. They were willing to use new materials, products and suppliers. Their flexibility allowed us to create a stunning, yet practicle, high volume rental unit. They were also able to problem solve quickly because of their years of experience renovating condos on Maui. Lastly, they were able to finish on time with a very short renovation schedule.

We bought a very dated condo in Kaanapali with an incredible view in late 2018. We knew it needed a lot of help. After talking to several contractors we felt Palani Alexander at ADR understood our vision for the place. Our building is older and that always presents unique challenges...all were handled beautifully. We were a little concerned about long distance communication but it was pretty seamless.Through pintrest boards and many calls everything came together. We even video chatted from the tile and counter top store. We love the way it all turned out. It was completed in July 2019. The response from our renters was tremendous. Almost too much because we could barely get time to visit for ourselves. The work included new flooring, new counter tops, totally gutted and remodeled 2 bathrooms, added a washer and dryer, new ceilings, and all new interior doors. The best part is that everyone we worked with were lovely people on top of knowing their stuff. They are busy for a reason and worth waiting for. Thank you, Palani and crew for making our dream come true.

In my experience, Palani Alexander is a strong project manager, skilled craftsman and effective businessman. His attention to detail, his calm demeanor, and his commitment to quality and customer service are evident in his work. Additionally, his creativity and flexibility are outstanding. He suggested innovations I hadn’t thought of and tactfully got me to reconsider things I thought I wanted that probably weren’t such good ideas. His crew showed up every single day and even on weekends as needed. They were respectful of the renters in the adjacent units and sensitive to how adjust the noise to their needs (doing quieter work during the baby’s naptime). I have hired Palani Alexander to remodel 4 condos on Maui plus a single family home over the past 4 years. On all of these 5 projects Palani finished each and every one on time and on budget. In many cases he went above and beyond expectations in adding custom upgrades above the job specs. I plan on using him again for many years to come! We own property on the west side of Maui. For several years we attempted to hire a contractor to remodel our property. Numerous contractors could not be bothered to return our phone calls. We were introduced to Palani Alexander and within two days we had met with Palani, he was able to show us half a dozen other remodels he had completed, and soon after a bid for a major remodel was sent to us. We did not visit the project during construction (with construction on the mainland we visited the job site daily) but were in frequent contact by phone.
